A 16GB card will hold about 2 to 2.5 hrs. hours of 1080p/30fps video.
In order to access the data from the iON Adventure, you need to upload the files to a GPS tracker website such as www.kinomap.com
Once uploaded, you can see different types of information gathered such as location, speed & altitude.
When Connected to ION Camera app, please ensure you there is no distance greater than 10m between the ION Adventure and Mobile Device.
You may need to upgrade your Firmware if the problem still persists.

The ION Camera app is available from the iOS and Android Store only*
For iOS users, go to the AppStore and search “iON Camera”.

In order for your camera to operate, you must have a memory card inserted into the MicroSD port found on the side of the device.
A Red Blinking Light Indicates that the Memory Card you are using is full so will need to either clear memory or use another Memory Card.
A Red/Blue Blinking Light indicates that there is no memory card intact or the memory card you are using is not compatible with the device.
Please ensure that you are using Memory Card Class 6 or above with Maximum 32GB Storage.
It is recommended to Format your Memory Card before use.
You can set the Time & Date in your camera by using the application built into the Camerea.
Simply plug your camera into a computer and access the file “ion_win.exe” or “ion_mac” on Mac.
Within General, go to Date & Time “SET”.

The ION Adventure has different LED Lights which indicate different functions found within the camera.
BLUE LED: Camera is in standby mode and ready to be used.
RED LED: Camera is recording and being operated.
Blinking RED/BLUE LED: Indicates that there is no memory card inserted or card is not compatible with device.*
*Please ensure that you are using Memory Card Class 6 or above with Maximum 32GB Storage. It is also recommended to Format your Memory Card before use.
If you are using the camera for the first time, please ensure that a blank memory card is inserted and the camera is fully charge before use.
Hold the power button found on the side of the device to switch on the device.
If this fails, you can reset the device by inserting a pin into the “RESET” hole found on the rear side where the operation buttons are found.
The Camera should now operate as desired.
The ION Adventure can be powered off by holding down the Power button for approx. 2 sec.
The LED around the Power button will be clear and the camera will become un-operational.
Hold the Power button on the Side of the Camera to operate the camera.
In Camera mode, the iON Adventure is operational when the BLUE LED around the Power button will be lit-up.
When booted up in Car DVR mode, A RED/PURPLE LED around the power button indicates that recording has started. When the camera is booted up, recording will start automatically.
When in Camera mode, you can also test by operating the camera by pressing the shutter button (power button) on the side panel to start a video. The Camera will vibrate and the LED will turn RED to indicate that Video Recording has begun.
Please ensure that the camera is fully charged with the cable provided for at least 2 hours before use.
Our preferred platform is KinoMap.com as soon as you drag your clip on to the uploader the data will be unlocked.
Sometimes it takes a while for the camera to pick up the GPS signal so power the camera up for at least a minute before recording (outside in a clear open space). You can do a test record to check that the signal has been found.
To do this, hit record and the camera will vibrate once to indicate that recording has started.
Hit the record button again to stop, if it vibrates twice then the signal is received, if once then not.
