You can tell if the SnapCam Lite is operational by pressing the shutter button is clicked (iON logo) a blue light will blink and a beep can be heard to let you know it is functioning. This will also take a photo and store it to the memory card.
Power on the Camera by holding the Power button found on the side of the device for approximately 3-5 seconds. The GREEN Battery LED will blink indicated with a beep to let you know that the SnapCam Lite is operational.

The SnapCam Lite will be in Standby mode for up to 7 days when charged.
In order to use the camera, simply tap the ion logo to take a Snap.
A Blue light and beeping sound can be heard to know that the camera is functioning.
If this does not happen, you will need to use the USB cable provided to charge the device again before use.

The SnapCam Lite has an in-built Blue LED to indicate when the camera is functioning.
This Blue LED will also blink continuously when Firmware is being upgraded.

Firmware Updates are available from the Downloads section of the Website.
-Simply download the Firmware file, drag and drop this into the folder named “FIRMWARE” found in the root of the SnapCam Lites Removable disk drive.
-Next, unplug the camera and the camera will automatically begin to upgrade the Firmware.
-The Blue LED will blink continuously when Firmware is being upgraded. When this stops, the upgrade is completed.

When Powered On: Tap once on the ion logo found on the front of the camera to take a snap. The Blue Camera LED should blink and a small beep sound can be heard. This indicates that the camera has took a snap.
You can also hold down the iON logo to start video recording. This is indicated with a Solid Blue Camera LED and an accompanied beep sound.

A Red Blinking Light Indicates that the Memory Card you are using is not compatible with the SnapCam Lite
In order for your camera to operate, you must have a memory card inserted into the MicroSD port found on the side of the device.
Please ensure that you are using Memory Card Class 6 or above with Maximum 32GB Storage.
It is recommended to Format your Memory Card before use.
